About Us
Fathers have been taking their children fishing for many generations in our family. The tradition of spending time together in the outdoors has now been passed down for four generations and promises to continue in the future. Our family tradition has not been in a quest for bigger fish or an excuse to buy the latest fishing gear, but rather an opportunity to capture the hearts of our children through spending time together in God's creation. Fishing together in beautiful places has had a profound effect on our relationship as father and son and has always provided us with a neutral ground to focus on growing closer in our friendship. Fishing continues to be a shared activity and is the backdrop for many of our favorite memories together. A.J. Rod Company was born out of our shared passion for fishing and the outdoors and our appreciation for the memories derived from our fishing adventures. We hope our rods and reels will become tools to encourage our customers in building their own fishing memories and relationships through time spent in the outdoors.
